These will be scrapped soon, but I wanted to show them off.
I am uploading a bunch of things, so all these will have the same comments.

What you are looking at is the expanded Battlestar Galactica fleets. I'll go into a brief overview of what they are about.

The Cylons
--------------
I wanted to give them a more sinister look. I know in the show they looked very benign, which contrasted well with their antagonistic position. This is what happened when I removed that contrast and made them look as they act. Evil.

The Fighters
--------------
I was tired of the fact that Vipers have the monopoly on the status as Colonial fighters. This is an exploration of what else they would have.
For one: I know that's a Jedi Starfighter, but I don't care. It looks DAMN good in BSG colors.
For another: the Helicopters are for the Colonial Marines. Atmospheric strike and support craft, basically.

i need some new frigate/crusier/carriers (or, WHY not huge battleships?? XD) on starshatter......

and also, someone gotta mod starshatter to enable ship cuztomization....

Hmm, the Viper Mk.VII and the Delta-7 Jedi Starfighter almost have the same design pattern.

Wow, those are awesome! The one on the bottom left is really cool. The untextured one is also pretty cool- and yeah, a helicopter would come in handy on the rare occasions they're on planets.

This is terrific. You know, the repurposed Jedi Starfighter looks like it could be Bulldog's Stealth Viper from the third season episode "Hero."

I also admire your effort to expand the colonial fleet. When you look at the diverse managerie of purpose built aircraft maintained by just about any industrialized nation on present day earth (Even the multi-purpose F-35 will still have to share its service life with the F-22 as well as the newer models of F-15's and 18's.), the notion that a multi world alliance would use only one brand of strike craft is so ludicrous, the mere suggestion of if takes me right out of the story. I'm glad that at least one other person is looking at things from a more realistic military standpoint.

I agree whole heartedly about the fighters. With twelve related but distinct cultures, you are going to get diverse design lineages, especially since the unification of the colonies was only just before the cylon war began.
There are a slew of 2D drawings out and about for various colonial fighters (pre-cylon-war).

I was just browsing around and stumbled on this - very nice! I like your idea of expanding on a theme to create fighters which are recognizably 'Colonial' while still being your own creations. I especially like the one on the bottom-left.

And yes, the Jedi Starfighter looks good in those colors. :-)
